Healthcare 21 Expands Cork Headquarters
Cork, Ireland – June 2010 – Healthcare 21, (www.healthcare21.ie) a leading healthcare provider in Ireland, today announced it has opened a new office Headquarters in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. A dramatic increase in demand for the company’s products and services necessitated the move to a new, purpose built 7,000 square foot facility, with an additional 2,000 square feet of showrooms, more than 4 times the size of Healthcare 21’s previous offices.
“Our new Cork office will enable us to better respond to the individual needs of our customers and will support continued growth and expansion in all of our Business Units” said Owen Curtin, Managing Director of Healthcare 21. The new offices at the company’s Headquarters were designed by the Architect, Margaret Mulcahy and Interior Designer, Aileen Curtin who worked together to create a contemporary, bright, spacious state of the art facility to fit the needs of Healthcare 21. “As part of our ongoing re-organisation plan we have centralised our nationwide warehousing to a purpose built 35,000 square foot facility in Ovens, Co. Cork.” Healthcare 21 is also currently planning the launch of its new website in early September 2010.
The company’s staff, which has grown from 35 employees in August 2003, is expected to reach more than 120 by the end of this year. The new facility houses over 30 in-house customer service, marketing, HR, engineering, decontamination, and commercial employees to meet all of our customers individual needs. It is also home to Healthcare 21’s three directors and a base for the 60 product specialists, account executives, sales managers and engineers who support our customers throughout Ireland and compliments the company’s existing facilities in Dublin, Galway and Ballymena.
