HC21 Lauch Covidien's Pleuraseal- Advanced Hydrogel Technology for Secure Lung Sealing.

The Pleuraseal Sealant System is the first TRUE Sealant for Lung Tissue and is approved for use as a surgical sealant during elective pulmonary resection as an adjunct to standard closure techbiques of visceral pleural air leaks.

By providing an airtight seal in lung surgery, Pleuraseal Sealant will offer surgeons operating on the lung a valuable tool to prevent post-operative complications associated with alveolar air leaks.
